NETSCAPE COMMUNICATOR

Following are the instructions of configuring the Netscape Comunicator for the AKUNET users:

1. Click on Edit that is located on the Menu Bar.
2. Now click on Preferences.

3. Go to Mail & NewsGroups and double click on it.
4. Here a sub menu will appear. Click on Identity.

5. After clicking on Identity a screen will appear on the right pane.
6. Type in your name in the textbox of Your Name
7. In Email Address write down userid@akunet.org. (For example, abc@akunet.org)
8. Click on Mail Servers

9. In the right pane click on Outgoing Mail  (SMTP) Server and type: smtp.akunet.org
10. In Outgoing Mail Server Username type: your userid
11. In the top of the right pane click on Edit
12. Type pop.akunet.org in Server Name
13. Click on Server Type and select POP3
14. In User Name type in your userid
15. Click OK
16. Unclick on any other options
17. Click on POP
18. Unclick on Leave Messages on the Server so that the messages will be downloaded once.

19. Click OK twice.

This ends up the email configurations. Just click on Get Messages to receive emails!
