- Go to Mail & NewsGroups and double click on it.
- Here a
sub menu will appear. Click on Identity.
- After clicking on Identity a screen will appear on the right pane.
- Type in
your name in the textbox of Your Name
- In Email
Address write down userid@akunet.org. (For example, abc@akunet.org)
- Click
on Mail Servers
- In the right pane click on Outgoing Mail (SMTP) Server and type:
smtp.akunet.org
- In Outgoing
Mail Server Username type: your userid
- In the
top of the right pane click on Edit
- Type pop.akunet.org
in Server Name
- Click
on Server Type and select POP3
- In User
Name type in your userid
- Click
OK
- Unclick
on any other options
- Click
on POP
- Unclick
on Leave Messages on the Server so that the messages will be downloaded
once.
- Click OK twice.
This
ends up the email configurations. Just click on Get Messages
to receive emails!
