DIALER FOR WINDOWS 2000

The following steps will help you in making an AKUNET dialer:

  1. Double click on My Computer icon.
  2. Double click on Dial Up Networking link.
  3. Here an icon of Make New Connection will be displayed. Double click on it.

  1. A wizard will be opened. It is also displayed in the print screen below.
  2. Click on Next

  1. Click on the Dial-up to private network option.
  2. Click Next.

  1. Now type the AKUNET Universal Access Numbers (UAN) that is either, 13113111, 13113112 or 13113113. After that uncheck the option of Use dialing Rules.
  2. Click on Next.

  1. Click on Only for myself if you want to create dialer only for your profile. Otherwise you can click on the For all users option if you want others to use the connection of AKUNET from your computer.
  2. Click on Next.

  1. Type the name of AKUNET in the textbox.
  2. Put a check on Add a shortcut to my desktop.
  3. Click on Finish.

  1. Now in the Dial Up Networking, window you will find an icon of AKUNET. Click RIGHT mouse button once. A drop down menu will be displayed.
  2. Click on Properties.

  1. This window will be appeared. Click on the sub menu of Networking.

  1. In the window of Networking click on Settings buttons.
  2. Now a new window will be opened. Uncheck all the three options that is Enable LCP extensions, Enable software compression and Negotiate multi-link for single link connections.
  3. Click on OK button.
  4. Click OK again.

    Congratulations ! Your have successfully configured the dialer for AKUNET.
