How to surf without being disconnected:

Configuration for Windows 2000

  1. Double click on the AKUNET dialer located on the Desktop of your computer.

  1. Another way of locating your AKUNET dialer is by going to the Start Menu in the Task Bar and then click on Settings. The print screen is depicted below:



  2. Click on Properties and  then the  first option that is, General. Here you will find the Modem that is currently configured in your PC.  Click on Configure button.

  1. Enable all the three options in Hardware features that are: Enable Hardware Flow Control, Enable Modem Error Control and Enable Modem Compression.
  2. Now, click on the Maximum Speed that is displayed as 11500. A drop down field will appear. Choose 9600 speed for the modem.  This will help in browsing the internet without being disconnected.



  3. Click OK twice.

    By following these instructions you will be able to surf the net un-interruptly!
